Format note: Weekends will be addressed on the Monday editions of The Daily, if I feel like it.
Life
- Friday: Worked, ate some delicious chicken pot pie that Shalee made, walked, then did some laundry in preparation for my overnight trip on Saturday. Also, got a “W” on COD with my brother; links broken into chunks: 1, 2, 3, 4.
- Saturday: Went to the used book sale at the Krause Memorial Library with my daughter and got some good, cheap books as well as one I had reserved for checkout. Drove with my friend Daniel to the aforementioned 50th birthday party for my Patrick, where we all basically hung out with a few other high school friends and talked for 11-12 hours. The books, the time with my daughter, and festivities with my friends, the entire day was perfect.
- Sunday: Woke up, had a lovely breakfast with the same group of friends, drove home and then attended to familial business before greeting Shalee as she returned from her own weekend adventure. Ordered and ate a pizza with the family before going to bed early and doing some reading (below). More perfection.
Reading
- As noted above, picked up Mal Goes To War and started it last night as I went to bed. Fun and light so far, but that’s what I was looking for.
The Daily is a regular feature of this blog with a semiregular schedule, an attempt to encourage myself to post more often.
