The Weekend! (24-Mar-25) - Our Geek This Week

How was your weekend? Mine was overall pretty chill, but we still had time for a little adventure.

Friday: It’s March Madness™, bitches, and MSU won their first round game against Bryant, though I admit that I was freaking out a little bit during the first half. Ultimately Sparty’s depth proved to be the deciding factor. In short, we watched all the basketball.
Saturday: Shalee, lovely woman that she is, surprised me with breakfast from McDonald’s. After that, some friends of ours invited us to the Grand Rapids Record and CD show in Grandville, so we went and had a great time while buying all kinds of cheap, used vinyl to bring home (I’m listening to Cat Stevens Teaser and the Firecat as I write this), before heading to Westside Social for drinks and food. Then we went home and watched all the basketball (again).
Sunday: Hey, more basketball, but first we had to get some groceries and did meal-planning for the week. I spent time doing geek shit (like updating this blog) while listening to our new-to-us records from the previous day while Shalee packed for a work trip. Then Shalee went to bed (early flight) while I stayed up to watch MSU basketball win their game and move on to the Sweet 16!

With lots of new records and TWO Sparty wins it was a pretty great weekend!
