Formatting update: I’m not going to pat myself on the back quite yet but The Daily is now a week old, which is good because I am posting more, and that was the intent. But I realized I’m writing in the morning while posting in the late afternoon, which means I’m sometimes posting things after they’ve recently happened. I’m changing to a noonish posting so anything that happens after I post will be covered the following day. This note is more for me than anyone.

- Bandcamp Friday is tomorrow and I am not ready. I have not really listened to much and have no idea what I should be buying. 🙁
Reading
- I’m about 40% through Mal Goes To War and I have to admit that it is not the book that I was expecting. When I read “AI” and “war” in the book’s description I figured it would be something about a cyborg or Terminator-type machine letting loose destruction, but it’s actually nothing like that at all. It’s much more like the Murderbot series in that there’s a genderless artificial sentient surrounded by violence and chaos; I’m enjoying it!
Sports
- The Tigers won again! Onto the AL Division Series!
- Inter Miami also won last night! Messi had two goals that really should be seen to be believed because Messi once again does shit that will blow your mind.
