Music

• Ela Minus just announced her sophomore album, DIA on Bandcamp. I loved her debut, Acts of Rebellion, so I’m certain I’ll be grabbing this one as well. It doesn’t hurt that the track “Broken” is a banger.
• Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES) released her new single “Something In The Air” and I’m still chewing on it. It’s not bad, it’s good, but it may need to grow on me.

Podcast

• This episode of TAL gives some perspective from some of the innocents affected by what Israel is doing in Gaza: exchange students. It’s striking and you should probably listen to it, in my humble opinion.
• Not to detract from the seriousness of the other episode I mention, the first act of [this episode] from a few years back includes a funny story about a man obsessed with the default hold music for the Cisco phone system.

Sports

• The Tigers won yesterday! I’ll be watching them again today.
• But Wrexham lost, though they’re still in second place in EFL League One.

The Daily is a regular feature of this blog with a semiregular schedule, an attempt to encourage myself to post more often.
