Oops, I was supposed to post this yesterday, but didn’t. Derp.

Life

• It’s my birthday today! How in the fuck did I get to 51?
• Friday: Went out for Tex Mex with all the ladies (Shalee, our girls, my mom) and had a wonderful time. Shalee and my mom fought over the bill, and Shalee ultimately won. Also: received the shirt pictured above, which I have pined for ever since I saw Depeche Mode’s tour manager wearing it in a van in a scene from 101.
• Saturday: Sadly, we watched the Tigers lose to the Guardians, after which we went to a viewing party for the Ohio State/Oregon game hosted by our friends Ryan and Eve. Shalee and I had to be subtle as we cheered on Oregon; we ended up leaving at halftime because we were tired. Getting older is fun!
• Sunday: Drove Anilee back to school and then ran a bunch of errands before grabbing some groceries. We watched the Lions absolutely thrash the Cowboys, but also watched Aidan Hutchinson suffer a gruesome, season-ending injury (broken tibia and fibula; you can find that video on your own if you’re so interested, ick). Grateful for the win, but bummed for Hutch.
