I actually started this book back in December, read seven pages, then set it down.
That says more about my ADHD and the timesuck of the holidays than the quality of the writing.
In fact, I picked it up again yesterday and have since read well over a 100 pages and can’t seem to put it down. I plan on finisihing it today. I know I like a book when all I want to do is read it and use every spare minute to do so (just ignore that bit about starting it in December, I was busy, OK?).
I think the title is very appropriate as this reads almost like a Biblical parable, with lots of lessons about the nature of life and death conveyed via the story.
I already plan on reading its sequel.
